Chat live with people from the Canaima National Park, home of the world’s longest waterfall. Learn about the tribe’s region, traditions, and culture. PURPOSE: Become one of the few people able to connect live with this remote tribe. Meet and interact with a local tribe leader. Find out about their lives, natural resources, and challenges. Explore the land, the community, and the Amazons through the lens of our local tribe leader. (LivE only) Learn about the biological diversity of animals and plant species that are found in the world’s largest forest. Find out if this tribe has any interactions with the country of Venezuela. Gain tools to broaden your perspective in history, geography, and language. Use your Spanish skills to interview and ask your host nature-related questions. OVERVIEW 5 Mins: Meet your tour guide; introduction to this experience and to G Maps. 25-30 Min: Live ViExperience or Chat with tribe leader. 5-10 mins: Q & A with tour guide APPROPRIATENESS: This workshop is appropriate for students ages 10 and up.
