DESCRIPTION: Learn about Afro-Caribbean drums and rhythm in this introductory session on drumming.

PURPOSE:
Meet and greet a local Caribbean percussionist and find out how percussion instruments are usually at the heart of Caribbean rhythms
Increase your cultural awareness.
Gain tools to broaden your perspective in music, history, and language.
Use your Spanish or French skills to interview and ask the percussion expert topic-related questions.
Learn about the similarities and differences between Caribbean percussion and percussion music elsewhere in the world.
